Its a quick start guide, as the Force Feedback settings will depend a lot of the wheel rim you are using (Weight & Size ratio), of the car you are using (and its rotation angle) but also of the cockpit you are using. Does anybody have any ideas?Įdit: I did try swapping the connectors from the brake and gas and the software still only registered the brake input (which was the gas pedal) so I really don’t think it’s a potentiometer issue. For the T818 DD Wheel, here is some FFB Presets (for many games) made by some official beta testers. ![]() It is now at a point where the brake still works perfectly and if I press the clutch REALLY hard, I can see it just barely register in the control panel. I have even tried the different modes for the different pedal types. It is also available under Apps > Thrustmaster: Your shifter should appear under the name T500 RS Gear Shift. This will bring up the Search function, giving you access to the Game Controller Control Panel. I also did a firmware update (after figuring out that annoying process). From the Start menu, start typing the words Control Panel. I tore apart the pedals and verified that the wiring is fine. However even in this mode nothing would register in the software or a game. The closest I got was I somehow ended up in a mode where the mode light would change colors when the clutch was pressed. I put my wheel into every mode known to the internet to no success. I figured it was weird do I opened up the TM control panel (I’ll never complain about Logitech’s control panel again after having to deal with this garbage) and sure enough, I had no gas or clutch inputs. Everything worked fine until all of a sudden I went to start a race in Assetto Corsa and had no acceleration. In some games the rotation angle is manage by the game (its automatic and depends of the cars) and not by the control panel. Go into the game, set there the Sam range and it’s good. I spent yesterday and this morning playing various games and getting the feel for a sim rig. The setting are only activated when used by another software (game or in this case the control panel). I tried removing the driver and reinstalling it but is no good. Rev indicater LED support varies from game to game.Yesterday I picked up a used t300rs wheel and pedals from a friend. I went in my program files folder > thrustmaster but couldnt find anything that said control panel. Gave the control panel a face lift as well I guess. It would appear that without the drivers working properly the wheel will be locked to. Theyre about to release their new pedal set, so a firmware update is probably needed to support the loadcell. The wheel's settings can be adjust within the control panel (See Thrustmaster Control Panel). Does anyone know how to access the Thrustmaster Control Panel for the TS-PC racer wheel I had to reinstall everything on my computer and after installing the drivers I cant find the application in the specified install location. On PC, both versions of the T128 are compatible with games that support them, but requires to have Thrustmaster's driver to be installed to work. The PlayStation version was only released 10 days after the Xbox version's release. Like the T248, the T128 comes in two versions: A Xbox-compatible version and a PlayStation-compatible version. In the Xbox I have the same thing other than gain that I only have 75 and is way stronger. ![]() For me its called 'FFB racing wheel drivers'. In the Thrustmaster control panel I have everything set to default other than damper and sterering that I have set to 0. What is it called There‘s nothing with Thrustmaster. Just make sure you have the latest driver installed, then plug your wheel, open the 'Firmware updater' from Thrustmaster that the driver installed, and update the firmware. Many of the features from the T248 were carried over, including a hybrid belt-pulley-and-gear-driven force feedback powered by a 3.5Nm motor, magnetic paddle shifters, Mini-DIN connector on the bottom of the wheel for accessory and detachable USB Type-C to USB-Type-A cable. type 'control panel' in the windows search box, then find 'uninstall a program'. Theres no need to use the bootloader to update the firmware. The T128 also comes with a 2-pedal T2PM pedal set instead of a 3-pedal T3PM pedal set. i also found kerbs being at 60 was a bit too aggressive also. Īlthough it was based on the T248, there are numerous differences between the two racing wheels Instead of a telemetry display, the T128 has a rev indicator LED instead. so thrustmaster have published their own settings now, for me Davids overall setting of 70 which would be 7nm was a bit too strong so i reduced it to 50 which is what thrustmaster are suggesting. The Thrustmaster T128 is a racing wheel released by Thrustmaster on October 17, 2022.
